Continuing with our countdown, the #9 slot goes to a photo named "Wyoming Glow". I captured this photo on May 31st, 2014 just north of the little Wyoming town of Chugwater. The day wasn't expected to produce much of anything, and the way storms were forming then dying due to the cap it seemed like it would be a total bust. After camping out on a storm just to the southeast for a good amount of time, another started to form and finally take hold. So, I moved to the north and sat and watched this beautiful supercell when suddenly a funnel started to take shape. I was beautifully backlit by the sun and took on an almost white appearance at the tip. It was the closest I would get to capturing a tornado this spring, and only the second one I've ever seen in Wyoming.
